When I was younger, I tried cream shadows (drugstore brand, of course, as I was not so cosmetically-inclined as I am now) and hated them. They were sticky, they creased, and they were hard to apply. Because of that, I always stayed away from cream shadows. Even when Benefit tempted me with a shade of their Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liners called “Skinny Jeans” (how fabulous) I resisted.

My sister gave me an Ulta gift card for my birthday, and I could resist no longer. I picked up Benefit’s Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner in Birthday Suit and Skinny Jeans. I had to take a leap of faith and try them.

If you thought Urban Decay’s Primer Potion was the best eyeshadow base you’ve ever tried…

After falling in love over and over again with prestige brand after prestige brand, I kind of lost interest in NYX. These new primers have snapped me back.
