So this is the first edition of our Sample Bag feature, where we review product samples and decide whether we would purchase the product based on the results we see from one or two uses.

Product: Oscar Blandi Trattamento di Jasmine Smoothing Hair Treatment

What it is: An intensified weekly treatment with natural extracts of jasmine, vitamin E, and grape seed oils.

What it claims to do: Fights frizz and strengthens and seals hair’s cuticles to restore hair’s quality and beauty.

Does it work?: I used this product primarily on the ends of my hair, because that is where my damage lies. I left it on for 8 minutes (the package instructs to leave the product on 3-15 minutes) because my hair is really not that damaged. Once I rinsed, I could instantly tell that my hair was silkier. I blow-dried my hair and it definitely felt softer and smoother.

Would you buy it?: At $26 for the full size product, for what this product does, I feel it is worth it to buy. Girls with hair more damaged than mine would probably experience great results with this product. But will I be running out to purchase this ASAP? No. I’ve experienced similar results with a less expensive product.

I would recommend this to…: Girls with moderately to severely damaged hair.

I bought five pigments for $5 each, which basically means I saved $75. Woo!

Left to right: Goddess, Baked, Protest, Rockstar, X

Each of these seems to apply smoothly with the exception of Protest, which is somewhat illustrated by the swatch photo.

Unfortunately, all of these except X have that pesky migrating glitter that some UD shadows are famous for. It’s pretty but it’s always falling on my cheeks or in my eyes throughout the day. Not a fan of the glitter.

I haven’t applied these to my eyes yet, which is why this is not a review, just a haul + thoughts on my first impressions of the product. I’ve never tried UD pigments before but I’m pretty impressed.

I have collected SO MANY SAMPLES over the past few months from ordering online, shopping in stores, etc. I need to get rid of them! So I’ve decided to debut our newest feature: Go Go Glam’s Sample Bag.

How it works is each week I will choose one sample, test it out, and submit a write-up of what I think of the product. Many times it’s hard to make a decision on a product after one or two uses, but the purpose of samples is to give a taste of the product and hope that we will buy it after limited exposure. Based on my experience with each of the samples, I will decide if I think it is worth it to purchase the full size product.
